Re: Peugeot 405 T16
The car is whole again and that rear quarter is changed but it was not easy to find a Mi16 shell for body parts therefore the massive delay. I expect it to be out of the bodyshop within 4 weeks for final assembly and then a massive detailing process Paul Dalton style
Re: Peugeot 405 T16
Ok so we have some progress again, the shell has finally been painted and the car is slowly being reassembled. Brand new bonnet and frontwings had to be purchased and of course other small bits and pieces. Almost there now!!!

Re: Peugeot 405 T16
lookin awesome !!! better then showroom status
Re: Peugeot 405 T16
So far so good, my visit in Poland was really short but i liked what i saw. Of course there are some details that need my attention that is abs lines from abs pump which fortunately are still available from Peugeot and i need to find a heatshield to protect the bulkhead. Ordered some clips(NFP) to fix the sideskirts, lucky enough i found a dealer here in Sweden that had 50 of them on the shelf
After a quick checkup on the 405 i travelled 600+km across the country to inspect the work that has been carried out on my Cti and to drop of my Griffe for a similar operation to the 405T16. I have promised myself that the Griffe will be the last one i do. By the way the old Griffe needed only 4-5L of oil to reach it's "final" destination:)

Re: Peugeot 405 T16
Ok this is how the "final" result looks like! Now back to the garage to finish off all the small bits and pieces like fitting new taillights and bagdes. A few bigger mechanical jobs are still left but slowly this is going to be one great T16. I'm planning a full detail meaning internal and external and application of Cquartz Finest.
Enjoy

Re: Peugeot 405 T16
Magnifique! Although I prefer the original rims...
Re: Peugeot 405 T16
I will actually be looking for RC wheels or splitrims.
Re: Peugeot 405 T16
Ok the car is back in the workshop where it all started. I wanted my good mate to be present when it was delivered from the paintshop for official approval
The reason for this is that i don't want no hassle later on if the painwork becomes damaged in any way by the workshop. If there is something that makes me go totally mad it's scratches!!!!!
My friend Pawel a true Peugeot maniac and a professional detailer liked what he saw
He took a couple of snapshots.
